The Hotel Sauze di Cesana, was opened on the occasion of the 2006 winter Olympic Games. Its name derives from the pretty village of medieval origin where it is to be found: Sauze di Cesana at 1.560 metres.

It is situated in a panoramic and sunny area at the foot of the Sises mountain, near to the Rollieres and Bessen Aut mountain villages, along the 215 provincial road, that from Sestriere ( 5 kms) leads to Cesana ( 5 kms). A free shuttle running till midnight links the Hotel with the ski-lifts.

Thanks to its position, in a few minutes you can easily reach the most popular resorts such as, for example, the "Vialattea" (Milky Way ) ski area, Argentera Valley and Monti della Luna. It is the departure point for wonderful trips and excursions on foot or on horseback thanks to the nearby riding-school. It is also possible to practice not only winter sports but also other activities in the sporting and cultural clubs that have special agreements with the hotel, such as: the highest 18 hole golf course in Europe, the tennis courts, the indoor heated swimming-pool and the gym.
